At present, the Endpoint Protection console only allows administrators to enable or disable the file protection. In any event, the product incorporates a local console (Endpoint Protection) from which it is possible to configure other aspects of the solution.
These are some of the limitations of the protection for OS X compared to the protection for Windows computers:
It is not possible to run on-demand scans from the Web console.
It doesn't provide the following functionalities: dynamic proxy , static proxy or rumor.
It doesn't allow for computer searches on the network.
Even though it provides a quarantine, this cannot be managed from the Web console.
It doesn't indicate the presence of remote control tools on computers.
The product doesn't upgrade automatically.
