How often do computers notify the status of the installed protection to the Endpoint Protection servers?

The status message is scheduled to be sent every X hours.

This value can be set in Edit profile – Advanced settings (Settings > Profiles (select profile) > Windows and Linux > Advanced settings> Server connection settings). However, the message will only be sent provided there has been a change in the protection status compared to a previous situation. If no change has occurred, the message is sent once a day.

As previously said, you can change the default frequency setting, but it must always be a value between 12 and 24 hours. If, for example, you set the value to14, the protection status message will be sent to the Endpoint Protection servers every 14 hours.

Additionally, you can force protected computers to send the status information to the server at any time. Right-click the Endpoint Protection icon on the Windows taskbar, and select Update. This will download the latest signature files and the latest settings configured in the Web console to the computer. Then, the computer will send the status information to the server.

The status message is sent regardless of whether you have selected or not a computer to centralize all communications with the server from.
