To install Endpoint Protection, you must first install the administration agent (.msi file), which downloads the protection to install it on the network computers.
Endpoint Protection offers two options for distributing the protection to your Windows, Linux and OS X computers using the installation program:
Download the installation file onto the administrator's computer and then carry out the installation on the rest of the network.
Send the link to the installation file to each computer by email so that each user can download it and run it manually.
Before downloading the installer, check the requirements that the computers must meet.
The installer is the same for Linux and Windows (32-bit and 64-bit platforms).
In the Installation area, select the operating system of the computer you will download the installer for.
Then, indicate the group to which the computers to install the protection on will be added.
Click Download.
In the download dialog box, select Save, then, once it has downloaded, run the file from the directory you have saved it to. A wizard will guide you through the installation process.
Distribute the protection to the other computers on the network. You can do this using your own tools or manually.
Use this option if you want to launch the installation from each computer. Simply copy the installation URL for the relevant operating system, and then access it from each computer you have access to and you want to install the protection on.
Click Send by email. Users will automatically receive an email with the download link (the link will be different depending on the computer's operating system: Windows, Linux and OS X). Click any of the links to download the installer.
