Regardless of the installation method to use, it is advisable to check the requirements to be met by the computers the protection is to be installed on.
If you want to install on a computer that already has an antivirus solution from a vendor other than , you can choose between installing the solution without uninstalling the current protection so that both products coexist on the same computer, or uninstall the other solution and work exclusively with (More information).
If the existing security solution is a solution, you must uninstall it before installing on the computer.
You can see a list of the antivirus solutions that can uninstall automatically by clicking here. If the solution you have to uninstall is not on the list, you'll have to uninstall it manually.
Follow the steps below to uninstall a security solution manually:
In Windows 8
Add or remove programs > Programs > Uninstall.
In Windows Vista or Windows 7
Control Panel > Programs and features > Uninstall
In Windows XP
Control Panel > Add or remove programs
In OS X
Finder > Applications > Drag the icon of the application that you want to uninstall to the recycle bin.
To prevent interference between and Exchange, any Exchange servers with installed should have a series of folders excluded from the file protection.
