General profile settings

In this section you can select general configuration options related to a profile. It is therefore very important to have a clear idea of the type of profile you want, largely depending on the computers that you want to protect with it.

The available options affect both Windows/Linux and OS X computers.

To access the settings, click Settings/Add profile.

Information tab

Select the Information tab to enter a name for the profile that you are creating, add a description to identify it, and select the language in which you want the protection installed.

The protection language option only affects Windows computers, as for OS X always installs in English.

Proxy server tab

Configure your computers' Internet connection. Specify the computers' Internet connection, if they use a proxy server, and if proxy authentication is required.

In the case of Linux computers, you'll have to configure the Internet connection locally from the computer using the command line.

Apply to tab

When you assign the profile to a group or groups of computers, these will appear in this list.
